Inter midfielder Dejan Stankovic, who is still trying to find his match rhythm after suffering on the sidelines for a while due to injury, managed to play another 45 minutes today in the Coppa Italia match against Reggina (which Inter 3-0).
The Serbian had also played the second half against Siena in the league last weekend, and thanked his coach for giving him the opportunity to regain his match fitness.
"I'm happy I was able to play today as well. For me, coming off a period during which I wasn't able to play, it's important to take advantage of all the chances the coach gives me to regain the match rhythm," Stankovic said.
"Now we have Juventus in the Coppa Italia? We will play those games to win, as always. And it will be better because there will be more people in the stadium.
"Inter always win? Victories are the medicine to always be happy. We are a great group in which everyone is willing to make sacrifices for another. That's part of why we are getting good results."
