The 21-year-old midfielder has been one of the revelations of Argentina’s Primera División this season, which inevitably has led to many of Europe’s top club inquiring about his services.
“I would like to stay at Lanus, but people are saying that big Italian and Spanish sides are interested in me, especially Inter,” said Valeri.
“I’d have to think hard. It wouldn’t just be a question of money, but also of my career - this chance could be a one off.”
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter captain Javier Zanetti personally urged the club to sign the young midfield maestro, who reportedly would be available for just under €10m.
Atletico Madrid are also known to be intent on signing Valeri, and have reportedly already had a €5m offer rejected within hours of submitting it to the La Fortaleza outfit.
