Japan: Kuze Leaves Rwanda For JEF

The Croatian quit his job as the national team coach of Rwanda this week despite starting the job just two months ago.

The 55 year-old is familiar with Japanese football after two spells with Gamba Osaka.

"I spent two wonderful months in Rwanda but I could not reject the Japanese offer," the former Dinamo Zagreb player and coach told Croatian evening newspaper the Večernji list.

Under Ivica Osim, JEF United established themselves as title challengers but since the Bosnian left to take over the national team in the summer of 2006, the Chiba club has struggled under Osim’s son, Amar.

He was fired at the end of last season.
