Riga Likely To Be Back Against Madrid

Levante emphasized work in the attack during Friday’s training session, as they prepare for the important clash with league leaders Real Madrid on the weekend.

The good news for the struggling club is that Ghanaian striker Mustapha Riga is more than likely to return to their starting eleven for the vital match.

Riga had a brief conversation with Levante coach Giovanni de Biasi, and then joined the rest of the squad in training.

In the training session De Biasi mixed his regular starters with the reserves. On one side he had Manolo, Alvaro, Robuste, David, Ettien, Tommasi, Viqueira, Courtois, Iborra and Riga, while on the other he had Armando, Serano, Rubiales, Juanma, Berson, Miguel Angel, Saul, Leon and Geijo (as well as Arveladze).

Players who didn’t take part included Javi Fuego and Christian Rigano, while youngster Pepe Pla returned to the club’s youth team.
