Manchester City Turned Down Ronaldinho?

English newspaper The Independent reports that Manchester City manager Sven Goran Eriksson would not be interested in signing Ronaldinho.

With 'Dinho enduring another injury-hit season, his time at Barcelona may end sooner rathe than later. As such, the player's agents have been working on contingency plans.

A move to AC Milan seems most likely, but other clubs - including Manchester City - are said to have been approached by the Brazilian hitman's entourage.

Ronaldinho was reportedly intrigued by the chance to play in the Premiership with Chelsea, but whether or not City would have excited him is unknown.

The Independent, however, reports that City bsos Eriksson was not willing to find out. Instead, he is waiting on Nery Castillo to join Elano in doing the business for the Eastlands side.
