Liverpool Trio Out Of Cup Clash

The disappointing 1-1 draw with Wigan in midweek proved even more costly than dropped points, with the three players out of the trip to Kenilworth Road.

League One strugglers Luton are a different proposition for faltering Liverpool. The Premiership giants will want to stay alive in the FA Cup, with 12 points separating them from league leaders Arsenal.

Manager Rafael Benitez confirmed that the three are unavailable. He will hope defender Daniel Agger is fit enough to field against the relative minnows as the Reds try to avoid a cup shock.
"Steven and Alvaro have a calf problem and Fabio has a hamstring injury," he said.
"They are all out of this weekend's game and will work with the physios to be ready for Middlesbrough next Saturday."
