The 21 year old has been dubbed the ‘brown Ballack’ back in Brazil for his ability to burst through and score goals from midfield.
In an interview with ‘Bild’, the youngster said: “The comparison is a huge honour for me. Now I am looking forward to Eintracht - I want to be a great success there."
The Palmeiras midfielder has signed a four year contract with the ‘Adler’ because he sees the Bundesliga as a place he can improve his all-round game.
“The Bundesliga is very strong. I believe I can develop further here than perhaps in Portugal. Above all I want to improve the pace of my game.
“The aim is also of course to break into the Brazil national team at some point” he added.
