Barusso Agent- We Are Talking With Roma

Roma’s Ahmed Barusso has been linked with a move to Genoa after the player’s agent Mauro Cevoli confirmed that he is in talks with the Roma over the Barusso’s future.

Barusso has been linked with a number of clubs including Monaco and Genoa but it seems as if the player may remain in Italy.

Cevoli said, “In the Summer the player was contacted by Atalanta but today I know that Genoa have spoken to Roma.”

“I am currently watching the situation and I will sit down with the Giallorossi and weigh up the player’s options.”

Barusso is currently in Africa for the Cup of Nations with his native side Ghana which could pose a problem for his agent.

The Ghanaian has made several appearances this season for the Rome based club but recent speculation has suggested that he will soon leave.

“The African Nations Cup can pose slight problems in terms of the player moving to another club. The player not being here can complicate our plans even though the competition will offer the player the chance to impress other clubs,” concluded Cevoli.

Last week Cevoli dismissed speculation in La Gazzetta Dello Sport that the player had been linked with a move to England.
