Valerón Relishing Depor Return

The Deportivo La Coruña midfielder suffered the blow in January 2006 and has broken down twice in his bid to play again since then.

Last week Valderón was given the green light to play again, however, and he is confident that all his previous problems are now firmly behind him.

"I do not know what will happen, but I have use my head and I have the experience of the other two injuries to prepare myself," he explained.

"I am convinced that everything will go well this time."

After pushing himself back in the previous two occasions, Valerón has remained very patient this time around and believes that everything has been checked.

"If there was one thing that we had to do during recovery, it was to slow down rather than try and push forward too quickly," he continued.

"In the last week everything had been very quick as I was given clearance to play and have now been picked for the squad.

"Thes are things that I have only spoken about for a long time.

"I am very pleased on a personal level to be back in the squad. It is another huge step and you will see everything is going well."
