Coach Chanvit Phalajivin will take the team to Manchester for a two-week stay on January 10 – at the invitation of City’s Thai owner Thaksin Shinawatra.
The south-eastern nation face Japan on February 6.
"It's a cooperation between the Thai Football Association and Thaksin," Chanvit told AFP.
"There are some 35 to 40 people who will travel to England. Some expenses will be covered by the association, but mainly the host will pay."
City boss Sven Goran Eriksson will supervise practice sessions.
''The training will be like that for professionals and Eriksson will help look after the team,'' he said.
Oman and Bahrain are also in Thailand’s group.
