Real Madrid Looking For New Partner Club

llowing the lead of the likes of Manchester United, who have an agreement with Royal Antwerp, Los Merengues have started to investigate possibilit.es

Belgium is an obvious target given the country's more relaxed immigration laws, but Madrid also hope a Portuguese side may be forthcoming as South American players can stay there and qualify for citizenship.

The move has been inpsired by the arrival of Juan Forlin who Madrid signed from Boca Juniors, along with Villafañe, but has yet to play for the club as he does not have a permit.

While the likes of Fernando Gago, Gonzalo Higuaín and Marcelo have fitted in straight away, Los Merengues aim to scour the market for more youngsters that they can watch more closely.

But that can only happen if they can farm them out to another club in order to help them adapt to European football and a new continent.

As well as Manchester United enjoying the fruits of such a scheme, Arsenal have sent Carlos Vela to Spain on loan, first to Salamanca and now Osasuna, in while he waits for a British work permit.

Liverpool loaned Mark González to Real Sociedad in order to gain experience while they waited for Chile's ranking with FIFA to improve.
