Marcelo: We Can Win Everything

The Brazilian defender is confident mood ahead of the Last 16 tie, but he admits that the Balearic outfit will still be a tough side to bear.

Mallorca lost against Barcelona in the Ono Estadi on Sunday and will want to bounce straight back in the cup and Marcelo is ready for the challenge.

"We know they are hard to beat at home, so we have to work hard and play well," he said. "We have to have our minds focused on the Cup and do our best to win.

"The way we're playing, I think we can win everything, but we have to continue working hard."

With Fabio Cannavaro, Christoph Metzelder and Gabriel Heinze all out injured, coach Bernd Schuster will have to shuffle his pack.

"I worry about the players who are injured, but this is a great squad and we have other players who can play," Marcelo continued.

Mahamadou DiarrĂ¡ has left to join the Malo squad for their pre-African Cup of Nations preparations and will be missed by Madrid.

"He's an important player, but like I just said, this is a great squad and someone can play in Diarra's place," the full-back added.

Finally, Marcelo was not prepared to calm the euphoria surrounding Iker Casillas after his incredible performance against Real Zaragoza.

"He was great, but not just against Zaragoza. He's been helping us out all year. He's one of the best in the world," he said.

"He's phenomenal in my opinion."
