Mancini: The Media Are Prejudiced Against Inter

The Nerazzurri coach was adamant that the press, television and radio in Italy show prejudice towards his team which has caused him to tell his players not to talk to anyone.

As the media blackout at the club continues, Mancini used Inter's own television channel to air his views on the bias against the club.

“Many people are prejudiced against Inter, they prove that every day and it has gone on for months now," he stated.

Last weekend there was controversy surrounding a penalty awarded for Inter against Parma after Fernando Couto handled in the area and was sent off.

Mancini's side came from 2-1 down to win the game 3-2 and Couto admitted after the game that the ballhad hit his hand, but still the media criticised Inter, according to Mancini.

“We didn’t do anything against Parma, we were awarded a penalty in an incident where the player admitted he hit the ball with his arm in the box, so there was nothing so scandalous," he added.
