Benin Coach Eager To Catch Match-Fixers

Following a sensational revelation from the German tactician that he was asked to throw the game against Mali, Fabisch has come forward saying he is ready and willing to cooperate with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in order to help stamp out such action from the game.

In a phone interview with the Associated Press, Fabisch declared he was ready and waiting on the CAF to decide what course of action is necessary when investigating the matter.

"I informed the organizing committee about what happened," he said. "I am prepared to cooperate with CAF in any possible way including (signing) an affidavit."

"Whatever CAF want me to do I am prepared."

"If people just watch and say nothing it will spoil the sport even more.

"You know what is going on these days in tennis, in cycling last year."

This revelation was followed by one of a similar nature just days later, with the Namibia players being offered $30,000 each to throw their upcoming qualifier against Guinea.
