Baldini Facing Defensive Problems

After last Sunday's defeat to Roma, Catania haven't had any rest days in order to prepare for the away match at Udine against their former coach Pasquale Marino's team in the Coppa Italia.

Coach Silvio Baldini seems to have recovered both Mark Edusei and Gionatha Spinesi in time for this match. Both of them should be in the starting line-up, along with Lorenzo Stovini, who out due to suspension last Sunday.

However, Baldini might have some problems in defence as Gennaro Sardo, Andrea Sottil, and Christian Terlizzi are all suspended for this one.

In the center of defence, Cristian Silvestri will play alongside Stovini, while up front, alongside Spinesi, Baldini will probably give room to one of BabĂș, Ezequiel Llama, Takayuki Morimoto and FrancescoMillesi, who were all regularly called up for the match at the Stadio Friuli.

In the last round, Catania pulled off something of a shock as they eliminated Milan with 3-2 aggregate score, winning 2-1 in Milan and 1-1 in Sicily.
